US company has discovered shale gas in Deventsi

Registered in the U.S. company Liberty Energy has discovered shale gas in Deventsi deposit near Lovech, said energy expert Christo Kazandjiev. The company announced its discovery in the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism in conjunction with the conventional gas. He said studies show twenty-four-hour flow of 300,000 cubic meters.
During the Triple coalition government another US company - "Direct Petroleum", received permission for exploration and announced that drillings give grounds to be considered that the field can meet the Bulgaria`s needs of natural gas.
If the company receives a concession for the extraction of natural gas it parallel to continue explorations of shale and obtain commercial discovery and right for extraction prior to Chevron, which received permission to explorate Novi Pazar deposit. According to Kazandjiev signing of the contract was delayed because of certain clauses, some are unique to the Bulgarian legislation.
