| The local Black Sea Technology Company (BSTC), 99.69%-owned by Italy`s AMGA Azienda Multiservizi S.p.A., said it plans to spend 2.279 mln levs through March 2009 on the rollout of over 20 km of gas mains in the city of Shumen. The company has already installed 43 km of gas mains in the Shumen municipality, pumping gas to 300 households, 28 industrial enterprises and 80 public and administrative buildings. BSTC said it will start the deployment of gas networks in Kaolinovo, Hitrino, Vetrino, Devnya and Suvorovo by Mar `09. |

Grifid Hotel, Bulgaria`s first locally-owned hotel chain management company, said it is in negotiations to buy a hotel in Black Sea resort Golden Sands where it already owns the four-star Arabella and Bolero hotels. No further details about the acquisition talks were available. Grifid said it plans to consolidate the three adjacent hotels into a single complex. The company said it also intends to build a new hotel in coastal village Aheloy and has not abandoned plans to develop a chain of city hotels. |
