The exploitation of the natural gas field close to the village of Deventsi, Northern Bulgaria, will kick off by the middle of the year, Pleven District Governor Tsvetko Tsvetkov told. Currently, the newly found field, which will yield gas distillate and natural gas, is being assessed. A rough estimate of the amounts of natural gas in it will be available within a month, Tsvetkov said. Direct Petroleum, the company exploiting the field, expects it will be the best gas field in Bulgaria.
