According to unofficial information Nova TV received an alert signal from viewers that the express train Sofia-Varna set on fire near the town of Cherven Bryag. According to initial information no victims are reported.

Later, executive Director of the Bulgarian state Railways (BDZ) Hristo Monov denied the rumor that there was a fire in the train Sofia-Varna. In his words the case is radically different from the case with the train Sofia-Kardam, and there is no reason of unnecessary anxiety.
