At the request of the main tenant in Mall Pleven - Carrefour hypermarket, the opening of the mall will be postponed until the spring of 2012. According to the plan the new shopping center had to be opened this spring.
The investor Aladin Ltd. has complied with the demands and signed an annex to its contract with the French giant Carrefour, according to which Mall Pleven will open doors to customers after one year.
"Pleven has always been part of our plans for expansion in Bulgaria and here Carrefour will open a store in a different format than in other cities. We were waiting for the upturn of the economy in the country to take place to make sure that this venture will be successful, both for Carrefour and Mall Pleven", said Christian Sharita, CEO of CMB Bulgaria.
