Pleven municipality may list minority stakes in some of its companies on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE). The idea will be discussed by the municipal authorities within a few weeks, mayor Nayden Zelenogorski said. That is the best way to boost municipal revenue, as well as provide fresh resource for the companies themselves, he pointed out.
To guarantee Pleven`s BGN 8.5 million investment programme this year the city may offer 100% in some companies.
The mayor will also propose that the city should take a BGN 15 million bank loan to provide co-financing for European projects and start their implementation.
