Bulgaria and Romania with a joint hydroenergy complex Turnu Magureli – Nikopol

The Romanian prime minister Kalin Popesku Tarichanu presented the possibility for the construction together with Bulgaria of a hydroenergy complex in the region of Turnu Magureli – Nikopol, which to serve also as a defense against floods, informed europe.bg. Tarichany is visiting the South Romanian regions Galaz and Tulca. 

"Such project may serve also for easing the traffic in this section of the Danube river, where when the discharge is low the transport faces difficulties", said the Romanian PM.

"I rely on the support of the respective representatives of the ministry of transport for the organization and the presentation of projects of wide interest of the region of the Danube river", pointed as well Tarichanu.
