The largest shambles in the Balkan Peninsula will be built in Lovech, according to a letter to the municipal council in the city by Meat Factory Lovech JSC, which plans to build the facility. According to the agency's investment plan the installation is valued at EUR 25 million and is expected to open 300 new jobs.

In order to ease the investment, the City Council has agreed to the sale of real estate, private municipal property, which is undeveloped land with an area of 4500 square meters in the northern industrial area. The property is to be sold by public auction at a starting price from BGN 68,000 without VAT. The property is adjacent to another property owned by Meat Factory Lovech.

Meat Factory Lovech is a processing plant owned by Bonnie Holding JSC. Bonnie has a total of 10 companies, most of which are also meat packing plants in different Bulgarian cities.
