Bulgaria could start producing cars near Vidin, according to the strategy for investment in northwestern Bulgaria, prepared by the Ministry of Economy, which is at stage of public discussion.

The document sets out a number of projects to promote, among which is Autopark - Bulgaria and the idea is to be constructed an intermodal terminal and industrial zone to produce cars in the region of Danube Bridge-2.

If the project is realized, it will become the second car factory in the country after Litex Motors, that assembled the China's Great Wall in its factory near Lovech.
