Vinprom Peshtera JSC is amomg the largest taxpayers in Bulgaria

Nearly BGN 70.5 million were submitted to the Treasury by Vinprom Peshtera JSC in 2012, which for the tenth consecutive year lead the company to the leading position among the largest taxpayers in Bulgaria.
The leader producer of alcoholic beverages paid VAT to the amount of BGN 8.8 million and nearly BGN 2 million in insurance for employees and local taxes, said the company`s CEO Ivan Papazov. According to him, in 2012, the company reported a revenue of nearly BGN 88.7 million, which grew by BGN 9 million as to 2011.
Profit after tax of Vinprom Peshtera amounts to nearly BGN 7 million, an increase of more than BGN 1 million compared to the previous year. Vinprom Peshtera employs over 2,000 people on a permanent contract and temporary employees in the cultivation and processing of vineyards.
As to the end of last year the company had processed over 36,000 tons of grapes.
