Lom-based Bulgarian-Italian factory Silpa OOD with new equipment

Bulgarian-Italian factory in town of Lom works for the biggest car concerns in the world. In order to complete increasing orders Silpa OOD installed 200-tonne press with computerized management.
The project for the high tech machinery is under the EU Competitiveness programme to the amount of EUR 1 134 000. The force of the press is 1200 tons, making up to 25 beats per minute and four complex operations carried out simultaneously.
From this year Lom factory works with the international consortium "Fauresiya" which provides details of the largest automakers in the world. In the workshops of "Silpa" now parts for "Fiat", "Ford", "Lada", "Skoda" and "Volkswagen" are being produced.
Silpa OOD employs 80 people, ten of whom were appointed this year.
