Foreign fashion retailers open new stores in Bulgaria

Swedish fashion chain Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) will open three stores in Bulgaria in the spring of 2012, two of them in the capital city of Sofia and one in the Black Sea port of Varna.
English fashion retailer New Look plans to have a new shop open in Sofia by the end of 2012. The company has chosen as location for its second outlet the Sofia Ring Mall, which is being built by the ring road next to the IKEA store.
In October 2011, another British brand, Peacocks, is expected to enter the Bulgarian market. Peacocks, which specialises in mid-priced clothing and accessories, has 600 stores in Britain and more than 100 international stores in 20 countries.
H&M`s stores in Sofia are expected to be in The Mall and in Serdika Center, while Grand Mall Varna is expected to house the outlet in the seaside city.
