A joint venture of Bulgaria`s Monolit and Germany`s Parabel AG will build a 50 megawatt solar park near the town of Maglizh, in southern Bulgaria. The photovoltaic park will cover a total area of 140 hectares and its average annual output is expected to satisfy the energy needs of 20,000 households. The produced energy will be sold to Bulgaria`s National Electrical Company. Construction works are expected to be completed by May 24, 2012.
