Burgas municipality started construction of a new sports complex called Izgrev in the same name neighbourhood. It will be situated on the spot of the former sports grounds behind RUM Veleka which have not been renovated for the last 20 years.

The investment amounts to BGN 2m on a municipal site of 14,490 sq. m, the completion deadline is by the year end.

Out of 40% of the site is for green zones, the rest is for two football grounds, three tennis courts, volleyball and basketball grounds, table tennis hall and combined children`s playground and open-air gym.
