The resort of Devin entirely removed resort taxes due to the low amount of funds collected. Devin municipality collected only 20 percent of the taxes, the town’s mayor Zdravko Vasilev said. Most hotels in Devin region declare only 100 accommodations per year, an amount which is entirely unrealistic, Vasilev said.
