A woman was assaulted with acid in the seaside city of Burgas between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on Friday, the police in the city anounced. A man approached her and fling liquid on her. The woman has been admitted to the hospital in the city of Burgas. She is in a stable condition. The liquid, which the doctors have not identified yet, has affected the woman’s face, right arm, back. She suffers burn on some 20% of her body.

The woman is now on her way to Pirogov hospital in Sofia. The police will release further details later.
