Archaeologists discovered over 100 ceramic dishes in a strawberry field near the town of Smolyan, radio Focus-Smolyan reported. During research, archaeologists found pieces of the dishes, some of which dating back to 1500 BC. Archaeologists believe that a Thracian settlement existed there until the late Antiquity period. The location of the settlement is still kept a secret so that treasure hunters fail finding it before archaeologists finish the exploration.
