REWE-owned fast-moving consumer goods retailer Billa will build a second supermarket in the eastern town of Stara Zagora. The 484 square metre outlet will be the company’s 44th on the market. Less than a month ago the chain cut the ribbon on its flagship store in Sevlievo, western Bulgaria, which shares space with electronics chain Technomarket. Billa set foot on the Bulgarian market in 2000, when it opened an outlet in Sofia.
