Balchik hosts Visual Arts Festival

The coastal town of Balchik (northeastern Bulgaria) expects a "landing party" of ambitious and talented young artists. Until June 28 the romantic town will host the International Festival for Modern Art `Process - Space 18`. Dimitar Grozdanov and Penka Mincheva are curators of the festival.
This year the logo of the art event is `New/Made`. Artists from Bulgaria, Japan, USA, Iran, Turkey, France, Germany and Switzerland are taking part in the festival. In Balchik they will be searching new forms in visual and plastic arts. The bill of the festival includes workshops, demonstrations and presentations by acknowledged artists.
