In several days, the beach near Baba Vida fortress in Vidin will be opened, regional specialist Petko Petkov told Focus news agency. Vidin municipality is currently preparing the documents needed for the opening of the beach.

The beach has been functioning for years without meeting the needed safety requirements. Even this year Vidin municipality is expecting to find problems with employing qualified lifeguards. Most of the qualified young lifeguards prefer working in coastal resorts.
