Wrestling legend donates FILA Gold Necklace to History Museum in Sofia

Sofia: Wrestling legend and patron of Bulgarian culture Boyan Radev on Wednesday donated to the National Museum of History the gold necklace which the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA) gave him on May 31.
He gave the museum a very rare well-preserved marble tablet with an inscription in Old Greek as well.
Radev has donated to the National Museum of History all his distinctions - gold medals scooped at Olympic games and world championships, a Madara Horseman Order and a Peter the Great Order and two bust portraits of his made by sculptors Velichko Minekov and Pavel Koichev.
There is a special hall named after Radev showing the 170 items donated to the museum, which include icons, church plate, carved wood pieces, stone figurines, three marble Roman bust portraits.
