A unique golden treasure was presented to the archaeology museum in Nessebar, Focus news agency reported. The treasure was discovered in the autumn of 2008 during residential building construction. The owner never turned it in and police had to get involved. No attempts have been made for the sale of the artifact.

The discovered artifact is golden jewelry having weight of 200 grams. Specific processing techniques typical for ancient times have been used. According to historians the golden piece dates back to the third century BC and a rich woman was buried with it. On May 15, the renovated artifact will be exhibited in the museum.
