Despite a decrease in bookings registered already, hotel owners in Sunny Beach are optimistic about the upcoming summer season, Focus news agency reported. Up to 60 or 70 percent of the overall accommodation capacity is to be booked, Sunny Beach Ltd executive manager Malina Stratieva said.

The maximum expected level will reach up to 75 percent. Visa issuing facilitations and the more extensive tourism marketing campaign are the reasons for the positive outlook.

Sunny Beach is a unique resort and the decrease in construction resulting from the crisis will affect it positively, representative of the Sunny Beach union of owners executive council Vesselin Nalbantov said.
