Carrefour chain will open hypermarket in Burgas Plaza mall

The French international chain Carrefour will open their first hypermarket in Bulgaria during the upcoming week. The hypermarket will be part of Burgas Plaza, the first Mall in the Black Sea coast city of Burgas. The official opening is due for the end of April 2009.
Carrefour is the second largest hypermarket chain in the world after the American Wall-Mart. The French company`s slogan is "Everything under one roof". The Hypermarket will be situated on an area of 13 decares, 8 of which will be for commercial purpose. On the roof of Carrfour there will be a parking lot, which is a completely new idea for Bulgaria.
