A great number of hotels in the Black Sea resort of  "Sunny beach" might remain unopened this summer. Because of the stagnation and economic crisis, the early registrations for Summer 2009 are catastrophically low.

Owners of the hotels in Sunny beach announced that it is not worth opening hotels, which depend on open rent. This is true for smaller hotels under 120 beds, which are less attractive for tourists. They will not be able to offer the conditions and extras, which bigger and more luxurious hotels possess. This concerns swimming pools, spa complexes, fitness equipment, massage centers, sauna and others.

Tour operators themselves this winter avoid smaller hotels and work mainly with the serious players on the market.

Thus, chances are smaller hotels will remain unopened this summer. It is just not profitable for owners to pay for supplies and other expenditures for something, which will not yield profit.
