Cherno More mines (Burgas) increase yield as an urgent measure against the global crisis. Increased extraction of lignite coals is needed because of the gas crisis, director Angel Angelov said. Apart from coals for the household, the mines have been sending quantities to Maritsa 3 thermal power plant, which led to 30% increase of production. Thus, job cuts will be avoided. A second yielding complex with coals of higher quality will be open.
