Aheloy proclaimed town

By decision of the Council of Ministers village Aheloy, Burgas district has proclaimed a town. Administrative-territorial change made on a proposal from the mayor of the municipality of Pomorie and a decision of the Municipal Council.
The place has the status of climatic beach resort and meets all the conditions for declaring it a town.
The number of people with permanent address in Aheloy is 2193, with a current address - 2138, which exceeds the statutory minimum requirements of 1000 people.
It has sufficiently developed social and technical infrastructure. In Aheloy there is a primary school, community center, and a museum with a rich historical collection.
The place is electrified and water supplied with built sewage. The waste water is taken to waste water treatment plant Ravda. There is durable covered street network and regular transport connections with the regional center (town of Pomorie) and with other settlements in the municipality.
Network of restaurants and small shops is well developed too.
