New factory for crash barriers is under construction in Letnitsa

Bulgaria`s Regional Development Minister Asen Gagauzov turned Wednesday the first sod of a new factory for crash barriers in the northern Bulgarian town of Letnitsa, Lovech District.
The new factory is a joint project of several Bulgarian firms, and will be supplied with German and Italian-made metal processing equipment. Its construction is supposed to be completed in less than 12 months.
About BGN 15 M will be invested in the new plant, which is expected to employ at least 150 people.
The crash barriers of the new factory will be made according to the latest EU standards. The plant is going to cover fully Bulgaria`s needs of crash barriers, and is also going to export its produce to adjacent countries.
