50-year-old British woman raped in the village of Bata

At about 11.30 p.m. /local time/ on Thursday, the Regional Police Department of the coastal town of Pomorie received a signal that a 50-year-old British woman was raped at about 11 p.m. in the village of Bata. The incident took place in the yard of the Hristo Botev Secondary School.
The woman was a guest in Bulgaria. She arrived in the country to meet a friend – also a British citizens. During the investigation, the victim told police she was at a restaurant with her friend. After she left the restaurant /alone/, she was met by three unknown men who took her to the schoolyard. Two of the men raped her. The three are now under arrest. They are aged 18 – 53, and work at a construction site in the village of Bata.
Investigation is underway.
