Bulgaria`s Supreme Administrative Court has hold back the claims of the country`s former tsar and former PM Simeon Saxe-Coburg and his sister Maria Luisa on the restitution of the Krichim Palace.

The Court`s ruling from November 10 does not refer to Saxe-Coburg`s claim per se. Instead, it repudiates the ruling of the Regional Administrative Court in Plovdiv, which in May 2008 declared null and void the refusal of the Plovdiv District Governor Todor Petkov to restitute the Krichim Palace to Saxe-Coburg.

The act of the Regional Administrative Court is repudiated on the grounds that it had no right to rule on technical procedures such as the whether to restore real estate property.
