A 10-day expert inspection began at Nuclear Power Plant Kozloduy SPJSC by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for a follow up mission on the implementation of the program for modernization of the 1000 MW 5th and 6th units.

IAEA has been invited by Nuclear Regulation Agency and the government following a request of NPP Kozloduy in order to evaluate and compare the implementation  of the program with the requirements given by the international agency for the two ВВЕР-1000 units.
