Jeff Scott Soto to play in Burgas, Europe invited to join

The lead singer of legendary rock bands like Yngwie Malmsteen, Talisman and Journey will delight his Black Sea fans once more. Last August he was on tour with Bulgarian rock band AHAT. Now the rock star, once a possible replacement of Freddie Mercury, will perform in Laguna Beach near Sozopol.
His concert starts at 21:00 on August 22. Tickets cost BGN 25. Soto wanted to shoot a new video in Bourgas. He intends to invite Glen Hughes and Swedish band Europe for a joint concert in the seaside town next year.
He met Burgas city mayor Dimitar Nikolov and even wanted to shoot some scenes from the video in his office. Bourgas fans hope he’ll play in their city too.
Soto has been featured on over 60 albums. He has worked with talented guitar players and musicians such as Van Halen and Glen Hughes. Although he has been in heavy metal and rock bands he prefers more melodic solo performance, a fact to which his solo career in the last few years testifies. Last winter he performed in Sofia. His fans hope his twice-a-year concerts in Bulgaria become a tradition.
