Pipers from Netherlands will compete with Bulgarian bagpipe players from the Rhodope Mountain. They will participate in the bagpipes` contest traditionally held in the village of Gela near the town of Smolyan. The foreign participants have made reservations at the local hotels since February to make sure they won`t miss the event. Yesterday, right away after their arrival the group gathered to rehearse.

More than 100 bagpipes will resound in the Rhodope Mountains as part of the sixth national contest for the master players of the `Leather bag`. Gela`s festival will start today in the morning and will continue on Sunday.
