City of Shumen Welcomes 150 Bulgaria Rangers from Iraq

120 soldiers and 30 officers from the Fifth Bulgarian Security Regiment were welcomed Tuesday in the Bulgarian city of Shumen after completing their six-month mission in Iraq.

The rangers were greeted at a special ceremony at the Shumen Department of the National Military University "Vasil Levski".

The 150 veterans were in charge of guarding the Ashraf Refugee Camp in southeast Iraq. 10 of them were awarded medals of honor by the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Army.
