A modern technical university is an opportunity to boost the Northwestern region. The project was a subject of discussions between representatives of institutions, business and academics in Vidin. The professional specialties are energy efficiency and energy saving devices, navigation and management of air transport, ecology, sustainability and safety of air traffic, etc. The university called Euro-Swiss Technical University already has a building, equipment and its budget. More than EUR 15m have been raised for the needs of the educational establishment - 90% from foreign investments, 10% from the business community in Northwestern Bulgaria.
