Local referendum pro and con Burgas - Alexandroupolis pipeline takes place on Sunday, April 6 in the coastal city of Sozopol. The citizens will respond to the question: Do you approve the building of Burgas -Alexandroupolis oil pipeline? The people with right to vote in the municipality are 11,800. There are 20 election sections. The voting day started at 6.00h this morning and it is expected to end at 19.00h. We remind you that the previous referendum about the pipeline took place in Burgas city in February. The results marked 27% activeness of voters in law barrier of 51%.
