Nearly one hundred trees property of the Rakovishki monastery “Holy Trinity” (village of Rakovitsa) have been cut down illegally, the District Police Directorate in the northwestern town of Vidin announced. A joint operation between the police and forestry employees carried out on April 3rd found out that 975 trees were illegally cut. The cost of the damages is still not known.
