The Eduardo Miroglio winery in the village of Elenovo, in the Nova Zagora area, has shipped 3 batches of pinot noir to China and if the wine is approved, the company may start supplying a Chinese store chain. The winery produces 0.5 mln bottles of wine annually, an output that could reach 1 mln within a couple of years. The Italian company owner plans to invest some 18 mln euro in the winery over the near-term, mainly in the expansion of the vineyard area from the current 200 ha.
