Hurricane Winds Demolish School Roof in Bulgaria, No Casualties

Part of the roof of a high school in Bulgaria`s town of Velingrad collapsed due to the hurricane winds that continue blowing across the whole country. There are no immediate reports of any casualties.
The roof demolished has been repaired some two years ago. The chief of the company, which performed the constructing works, has not given explanation of the accident yet.
A total of 650 children are being taught in the school but fortunately only one group was there at the time of the accident.
The speed of the winds across Bulgaria reached 20 m/s, meteorologists reported. The Civil Defense services were signaled over 36 cases of fallen trees, branches or shaking sheet iron construction in the capital city of Sofia.
