40,000 tablets were seized in a special police operation carried out in the area around Lesovo border checkpoint, spokeswoman of the police in the town of Yambol Katya Nyagolova announced. The tablets were found in an Alpha Romeo car with a Bulgarian license plate driven by a 21-year-old Bulgarian who was coming from Turkey. The cost of the synthetic drug has not been specified, because ephedrine is used mainly in mixes with heroin. According to the initial information the tablets have not been produced in Bulgaria. The case is under further investigation.
