Austrian company Gebrueder launched a EUR 10 million terminal in Musachevo

The Bulgarian arm of Austrian transport and logistics services provider Gebrueder launched a EUR 10 million terminal in Musachevo, near the capital Sofia. The company plans to use the new logistic hub to expand to Central Asia and the Caucasus.the company plans expansion to the East towards Turkey, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Kazakhstan.
The logistic terminal comprises warehouses (6000 square meters), cross-docking area (1880 square meters) and office space (1300 square meters). Gebrueder Weiss owns the land around the new terminal, so future expansion is logically expected.
At present the company employs about 75 people, as their number is expected to grow to 90 by the end of the year.
Gebrueder Weiss entered Bulgaria in 1993 and opened a logistic facility in Sofia in 2003. Gebrueder Weiss generates about 70% of its turnover from national and international transportation by road.
