Bulgarian Rose Karlovo with 17% drop in sales

Bulgarian Rose Karlovo JSC, the rose oil production company, has unveiled a 17.7 per cent drop in sales revenue to BGN 5.2 million for 2008, compared to BGN 6.3 million for 2007, the company said on January 27.
The revenue from the sales of services have increased marginally from BGN 255,000 in 2007 to BGN 258,000 in 2008. Revenue from other sources, however, jumped to BGN 936,000 for 2008, as opposed to BGN 76,000 in 2007.
The bulk of that revenue came from the sale of a recreational base in the village of Banya, near Karlovo, for BGN 700,000. For the entire year of 2008, the company had BGN 2.8 million in net revenue.
Bulgarian Rose Karlovo majority shareholder is Stara Planina Hold JSC.
