Mekom to offer investors 17% of its capital

Mekom of Silistra is the first Bulgarian meat-packer to have announced plans to get listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. Some 17% of the capital will be offered to investors in early 2008. The company expects to raise more than BGN 22 million on the capital market. Mekom is well positioned in the market and exports nearly 70% of its output. Its revenue from core activities amounted to BGN 30 million at the end of June.
