Smuggled cigarettes have been seized in the town of Nikolaevo, press centre of the District Police Directorate - Stara Zagora announced. An alert has been received at 12.20pm at Gurkovo Police Department yesterday that unknown persons offer smuggled cigarettes without excise labels to commercial outlets. 4 people have been detained as result of the police check.

The Bulgarian Health Minister, Doctor Evgenyi Zhelev has offered first aid to two individuals, who were injured in a serious traffic accident that has occurred on the road between the towns of Muglizh and Gurkovo Sunday. One of the victims is a 31-year-old man, who has been transported to the hospital in Kazanlak .
