A huge 80-megawatt wind farm will be built in the municipality of Gulyantsi , northern Bulgaria, near the Danube. At the second stage of the project`s development, the wind farm`s capacity will expand to 120 megawatts. V-Power, the company contracted to build and operate the wind farm, has already applied for an electricity production license with the State Energy and Waters Regulatory Commission and the decision is expected on August 23. The contract for concession of port terminal Somovit will be signed by the Minister of Transport Petar Mutafchiev and the company winner of the open procedure – Oktopod - S.
