The northern municipality of Dolni Dabnik has won funding for a BGN 1.1 million wastewater treatment and sewerage project under operational programme Environment 2007-2013. Pleven-based Vodno Stroitelstvo 2000 has been appointed to carry out the feasibility study. The scheme comprises a wastewater treatment facility, sewer mains collectors, ducts and water network repairs due for completion within 18 months. It will be part of a larger infrastructure project including also the villages of Sadovets, Krushovitsa and Gorni Dabnik.
