Bulgarian meat producer Mekom ( Silistra ) said it has signed deals worth a combined 3.0 million levs per month for exports to Turkey. The new contracts cover the shipment of some 1,200 tonnes total to Turkey on a monthly basis, comprising mainly lamb meat and meat products, Mekom said in a statement. Bulgarian meat producer Mekom ( Silistra ) said on Friday it has secured four contracts worth a combined 1.8 million euro for exports to Turkey. Level of Danube River close to the town of Silistra has increased by 11cm over the last 24 hours reaching 794cm, press centre of the Agency for Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube River announced. The level of the water close to Ruse is up by 4cm reaching 816cm; in Nikopol - by 1 cm to 789cm. Silistra -based meat packer Mekom will try to raise BGN 14 million on the capital market by offering privileged shares, the Bulgarian Stock Exchange said. The company will issue 14,000,995 new shares with a BGN 1 par and issue value. If the whole issue is subscribed, Mekom`s capital will reach BGN 70,004,973. Four new temperature records have been registered in Bulgaria, the National Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences announced. 17,2°C was measured in the coastal city of Burgas , 14,6°C - on the cape of Emine (2km from Emona village ), 13°C - on the cape of Kaliakra , and 14,4°C - in the northern city of Silistra . These are not the final temperatures; higher ones are expected, says NIMH. Weather forecasters say Sunday is the last day of the warm wave.
