2-nd confirmed Swine Flu case in Bulgaria found in Blagoevgrad

A seven-year old girl from the district of Blagoevgrad is the second  (read here about 1st case) confirmed case of the H1N1 virus in Bulgaria, DeltaNews reports Friday.

The girl returned from the USA on May 29th together with a companion who also was tested for the disease along with four other people who had contacts with the child, the chief epidemiologist of the Bulgarian Health Care Ministry, Angel Kunchev said.

The child has been admitted into a hospital where she is isolated and under medical surveillance. As of now she has only a cough and raised temperature, doctors say.

Bulgaria confirmed its first case of Swine Flu on June 2nd when 21 year old Ivan Dimitrov was reported to be infected. He was returning from the USA as well.
