Bulgarian real estate investment trust (REIT) has put on hold a project to develop a ski and spa complex in the upscale mountain resort of Borovets . Romanians have been killed in road incident along Sofia-Samokov road, the National Medical Coordinative Center announced. The signal for the incident was received at about 8.30am. Car with Romanian registration and a TIR truck with Bulgarian registration collided. Five Romanians in the car died.

Weather conditions in mountains are not suitable for skiing , press centre of the Mountain Rescue Service with the Bulgarian Red Cross said. The Mountain Rescue Service warns that visibility is reduced due to the snow cover which worsens conditions for skiing. It is snowing in mountain resorts of Bansko and Pamporovo and on Vitosha and Stara Planina mountains. Weather in mountains is overcast and calm.
