MOUNTAIN ROADS AND PASSES The Republican Road Infrastructure Fund said on December 18 that the high mountain roads were partly iced over. In temper, behavior and language, as well as in customs the “shopi”- people who live in Sofia region are quite different from the people in the other regions in Bulgaria. Their folk music also differs from the folk music of the surrounding regions. The folk music that the “shopi” created is an expression of their sense of humor, cunning and wisdom.
